I have seen better sandy beaches in Greece, but these has it's own positives. Northern part is the cleanest, but it's not sandy, it's with really small pebbles. Central part is a sandy beach, but with dried sea weed bellow sand here and there. For you that is not a problem, but for your kids trying to dig a hole, yes. 😊 On both parts, the sea is really clean, with small pebbles or sand, and sea weed "islands" here and there, that are not making a big problem. Depth is more than 2m after ~10m from shore. Southern part is not organised, a lot of dried wood mixed with sand, some spiky grass, because of which you and especially your kids, need to were slippers all the time. The pedestrian zone is poorly maintained, making the area look unattractive. More trees and greenery would greatly improve it.
