Palea Fokea Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Saronikos

This is a pretty beach, easy to reach, right next to the main coastal road. There is plenty of free parking. There are parasols and long chairs for which you have to pay (€6.50), but there is also plenty of sand where you can set up your towels for free. There's a good beach bar offering coffees, beers and other drinks. The sea is beautiful, waters are very clear (which is what you'd expect for this part of Attica), but the beach gets very busy and the people that frequent it seem to be on the dirty side - there is plastic waste all over the sand and also in the sea, which is absolutely ridiculous - when will people learn!! There are 'fournoi' (bakeries) on the main road so you can grab cheap and filling Greek pasties, and make a wonderful day out of your visit. Spiaggia molto ampia, sabbiosa, acque basse. Ideale con bambini. Purtroppo quando siamo andati noi c'erano alghe nell'acqua e a riva. La sabbia comunque molto sporca e non curata. Ampi spazi di spiaggia libera e possibilità di ombra sotto gli alberi vicini. Parcheggio gratuito. I lidi ci hanno deluso, offrono solo ombrelloni e lettini con consumazione bar obbligatoria.
