Koviou Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sithonia

Koviou Beach truly boasts stunning clear blue waters and a beautiful sandy shore with a gentle entry, making it ideal for families with children. The natural beauty of the beach is certainly a highlight. However, visitors should be aware of the pricing structure. Parking costs €5 for the entire day. Sunbeds come at a price of €10 per set (two sunbeds and an umbrella), plus a mandatory minimum consumption of €70. This can quickly add up, so factor that into your budget. If you prefer a more relaxed setup, heading to the left side of the beach offers an alternative arrangement run by a different operator. Here, sunbeds are €15 per set, but there's no bar service or items for sale. The upside is that you are permitted to bring your own food and drinks, which can be a cost-saver. Regarding facilities, the toilets are located at the hotel reception, which requires a short walk. Overall, Koviou Beach is beautiful for swimming and relaxing, especially with kids, but be prepared for the costs and the different options...

The beach is nice and, during the week, not so crowded. The entry in the sea is stony for several meters. Afterwards, it's nice and sandy, and the water crystal clear an very calm.

There are stones in the sand on the beach also, but overall is fine.

There were some sunbeds that can be rented but no umbrellas. There is plenty of space on the free beach. A small boot is renting small boats and another one, up near the road, is selling drinks. Some spots have natural shade.

You can park your car in the small parking spot on the right side of the road, coming from Nikiti. If it is already full, go on for another 600 meters and take the road on the right (there is a Koviou sign). After another 200 meters, go slight left, towarda Isla Beach Bar. You will find a parking spot just above the ramp. From there, go on foot 1-2 minutes, following the fence of the property...

Great sand, a bit of rocks. Perfect sea, on entrance, rocks then sand. Half of beach is under beach bar, but there is enough space for all visitors. Music is not too loud and it fits atmosphere nicely. A bit of insects on the beach. It is windy, but hey, it is middle of September.

On the 9th of September (Saturday):

hotel parking was free, lot of space (arrived ~ 9 am), aside of this, there is parking on the road, 100m after hotel (direction from Neos Marmaras) sunbeds - 1st row 50 or 70 EUR minimum consumption (depends on sunbeds type), other wooden sunbeds are 20 EUR nothing included, steel ones are 15 EUR nothing included) food and drink match other beach bars service is good, polite, try to explain and help there is free wifi, strong connection showers and toalet available in hotel 50m...
