Perissa Beach, also known as The Black Beach. This is a beautiful beach with black sand, which can get baking hot (the sand that is) on a hot day. The water is crystal clear, and plenty of small fish. Some like to nibble your ankles. There is also a great choice of where to eat, at very reasonable prices, unusual considering you are on Santorinis. We booked an umbrella and 2 chairs for 15 euros. There is the option of paying 50 euros, all food included but it is a better deal and more flexible if you purchase food separately. We also caught the little ferry (8 euros every 30 minutes) around the point to Kamara Beach where you definitely want reef shoes. Kamara is a very pebbly beach. The Santorini buses service both beaches. Highly recommend Perissa Beach.

Also, there are restaurants all along the beach that provide lounge chairs and umbrellas for you to enjoy the beach. The restaurants will waive the sitting fee if you order a meal with them which was totally worth it. Some of the restaurants like Wet are super popular and do require a reservation but even if the one you wanted is full, there are plenty of other options along this beach. The water is also crystal clear - though, it was a bit cold in May so we chose to just dip our feet in...

The landscape views here are great. It doesn’t seem to be maintained well though, may be it gets into its good form during season. The water sound through pebbles is very calming here. In short you should visit this place even if I’m off season. Have whole beach for yourself and enjoy the secludedness.
The road to the beach is paved well till half distance and filled with gravel but is accessible with decent...
