Very pretty beach but it’s quite small so it may be hard to get a cabana or sun lounger at busier times. It can only be reached by water taxi which costs €15 per person. The boat does not stop close to the shore so you need to be prepared to walk through the water at about waist height, which can be choppy and may be tricky for young kids or people with mobility issues. Be sure to take food and water as there is no restaurant or shop available. Also recommend taking beach shoes or flip flops as the beach is pebbled and can be a bit sore to walk across.

Azzal kezdeném, hogy eszméletlenül gyönyörű, nem szabad kihagyni! Sajnos én elkövettem két nagy hibát a helyszín meglátogatásakor. Hiba 1: Előre nem olvastam el az itt található véleményeket. Hiba 2: A szállodában maradt minden pénzünk és nem tudtunk volna vízi taxival menni a White beach-ra. Mivel nem volt pénz nálunk, ezért megnéztem a navigáción, hogy megközelíthető-e a part autóval. Gondoltam ezt megoldjuk, mert a térkép szerint egy közeli helyig el lehet menni autóval, aztán a kitaposott úton lemegyünk a partra. Nem volt jó ötlet, és szerintem ezt az ösvényt látható módon le kellett volna zárni, de minimum kitenni egy figyelmeztető táblát! Amikor a bozótos kitaposott út elfogyott, hirtelen a meredek sziklafal tetején találtuk magunkat, innen egyedül folytattam, mert a párom feladta, Ő majd fentről fotóz engem, amikor beúszok a két szikla közé. Első ránézésre biztonságosnak tűnt, mert volt egy kötél rögzítve felül, amely ugyan nem egy klasszikus hegymászó kötél volt, hanem attól lényegesen vékonyabb. A fal meredeksége ellenére biztonságosnak tűnt, de a magasság kétharmadánál a kötél elfogyott. Onnantól aztán lefelé ment a csúszda a kőtörmeléken. A veszélyességet az még külön növelte, hogy egykor volt itt egy beton lépcső, melynek a vasszerkezetéből a beton már kiporladt és helyenként kifelé állnak a betonvas szálak. Végül sikerült leérni, be is úsztam a két nagy szikla között lévő kis kőszigetre!  Felfelé már csak az volt kockázatos, amíg felértem a kötél aljáig. Senkinek nem ajánlom ezt a túrát, én is nagyon megbántam, fölösleges kockázatot vállaltam be!

*UPDATE* attention aux informations concernant la White beach qui sont très souvent contradictoires ! Il est impossible d’accéder à cette plage à pieds ! Ne suivez pas le gps Google maps qui vous emmène en haut d’une falaise en voiture sur un chemin très dangereux pour après vous retrouvez tout en haut sans aucun chemin dans la roche où il est impossible de descendre. Nous avons essayé car nous pensions vraiment que c’était possible en suivant le gps mais nous avons vite dégringolé dans la roche, à ne pas reproduire ! Cette plage est donc seulement accessible en bateau que vous pouvez prendre au port d’Akrotiri qui desservira la white beach, la red beach et la black beach. Il s’arrête aux plages, vous descendez ou vous voulez et tous les 30 min ils repassent et vous pouvez monter dedans (vous avez un bracelet orange indiquant que vous avez le droit à ce bateau). Attention : Au mois d’août, le ferry pour aller à ces plages coûte 15 euros par personne !!! Alors que sur plein de blogs ou d’avis on lit 5-10 euros. Le prix paraît donc élevé mais ça vaut vraiment le coup d’aller à la white beach qui est beaucoup moins fréquenté que les autres plages et bien plus agréable. L’eau y est transparente, les rochers magnifiques, la roche vraiment blanche… la plage est plus petite et c’est vraiment plus intimiste, vous vous sentirez comme coupé du monde ! Vous pourrez avoir le choix de louer pour 15 euros 2 chaises longues et un parasol. Mais si vous prévoyez d’y rester longtemps, prenez de la nourriture et de l’eau avec vous car il n’y a aucun bar où vente de friandises.

Interesting place. You can get there only by boat. The best and cheap choice is to go to the red beach Port and then to get round boat trip. It is costs 15€ per person and you will get the three beaches trip: red Beach, white Beach and black Beach with the lighthouse. But! If you plan to get back to the red beach you will get an issue, because the trip is going every half an hour non stop. You will get the bracelet and can use any of those boats till the last one (till 6pm.) and can get out from the boat in each beaches. But as mentioned the trip road - red beaches Port (Akrotini), true red beach with umbrellas, white beach and the black beach and the boat then going directly to the Akrotini Port. So, I am recommend to get out to the white beach and not do it on the black beach (there is nothing to do here and additionally it is stone front). Okay. About the white beach. Remember. That the boat is getting seaside and you should jump into the water, so be ready with a swim suites and sleppers, the level of water at the drop-off position is about 1,2m. The boat stuff can help you to hold your back pack and stuff and then get it to you after you will be in a water but if you are small you will be wet at half...

Don't ever buy any fruits from the guy there at the fruit stand! At first he let us taste some, then we decided to buy some grapes, but as he said 15€ for a small bag of grapes, we didn't know what to say anymore. Completely stunned we gave himna twenty note, but he said "no change" and wanted to give us some other fruit, instead of returning our 5€.

Don't even look that guy in the eyes!

We think, he works in these little appartements there to.

Anyway, the beach is very nice and the waves are much fun! But wear...
