Windmill — Attraction in Municipality of Thira

We spent our first few days in Santorini staying in Akrotiri and I watched the sun rise over these windmills each morning. They are situated on a ridge line and would probably be a good location to watch the sunrise or sunset. Run down area not really for tourists but the top of the hill has a nice spot for sunsets. Although there were men with shot guns shooting at something right near this area. Didn't feel safe so we didn't stay for the sunset. The road up to the spot is paved all the way. Some windmills were ruins. Was too tired to get out the car and take a look at them.
