Nalas Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Nalas suites is located in Emporio, a medieval castle-village which in contrast to the rest of the island, remains untouched by the development in tourism. Cars of course are not allowed inside the village, however there are parking areas at a walking distance of 5-10 minutes from the suites. We stayed for 3 amazing nights in Mastio suite and we literally enjoyed every minute. The room was so clean and cozy that gave us the feeling we were the first customers staying. We appreciated small but important details such as the fully equipped kitchen with espresso machine, the excellent bathroom facilities, the always clean jacuzzi outside our room, the comfy COCO-MAT bed, the smart TV (we watched some Netflix episodes before sleep); there was even a lantern with candles which of course we used to make the night atmosphere even better. Manthos the manager, is a great and cool person who made us feel like good friends and gave us some valuable advice to spend our time (and money) in the island like locals. I stayed two nights in October 2023. I booked a MASTIO, but they upgraded it to VIGILA. VIGILA is a very private accommodation, like a freestanding building. I chose the cave-style accommodation because I wanted to experience it, and it was a good decision. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, and I had a good night's rest at my individual Jacuzzi on the rooftop in the evening, watching the night view. The town of Emporio, where Nalas is located, was also very impressive. It was fun to walk around the old town without cars. There is a Greek home-style restaurant called Old Barber Shop just a three-minute walk from Nalas, and it was really nice to experience Greek soul food. Thank you very much for your kind Chris. AMAZING!!! Not 5 but 10 Stars!!! The place it self is very beautiful and Christos Hospitality its even better! He made us feel more then guests. We stayed in the MASTIO SUITE, which come with a outdoor private Jacuzzi. The view from the jacuzzi and the suite is amazing. Because of the position of the building we had amazing views of the Sunrise every morning. You can see the beach from the windows. We were welcomed by Christos at the post office from the transfer he arranged for us from the airport. It a great and quite place of the island, we recommended renting an AT V or Car which makes everything easier, and dont worry about parkings, supermarkets, bars, ATMs they are all just few minutes walking distance from the AirBnb.
