July 2024 Trip: lunch at The Old Barber Shop in the village of Emporiou in Thira. This is such a pretty village! Full of little winding paths on a hill, and full of white houses. Easy to get to if you have a car. The restaurant is all outdoors seating, and has nice views. The service was very friendly, and the food was excellent 😍😍. . After reading the reviews we decided to come for a light salad lunch. We fell in love. This village is beautiful and authentic, from the cafe you have beautiful views. The service is fantastic and the salads where incredible (very different and tasty) a greek couple sitting next to us told us that we had to try the moussaka and only from the old barber. The following day en route to the port we stopped by again and I am so glad we did. Stopped there for a cup of coffee ☕ when nearly reach the top of a narrow and wiendy alley. The view fantastic and it seems the cafe is run by mother and son. They all traditional Greek food starters mains and afters the Greek salad 🥗 musakaa and the rest.
