My parents and I arrived at Nissaki beach around 10 o'clock. The young man (Fontas boats) who charges for sunbeds said that we can leave our towels while we have lunch in our apartment in Barbati. Around 12 o'clock it started raining, we left one towel and a cup of coffee and left the beach to have a lunch. We returned to the beach at 3 o'clock. The towel wasn't there, and we did not have the possibility to use the paid 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. So we paid 14€ for about 2 hours of comfort on the beach. Shame, but the beach is wonderful.

It’s a really small beach so make sure you come as early as possible, otherwise you might end up with no space left. For 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella we paid 25€, which is quite pricy, but there is also free space to sit on the pebbled beach. The water is amazing, warm and very clear, perfect for snorkeling, we’ve seen loads of fish here. Also, even though there are pebbles in the water, they are a lot finer than I’ve seen on other beaches and it is comfy even without shoes.

Amazing little beach and the water is beautiful. Typically of a greel island the beacj is pebbles with san abput 20foot once your in the water. First few feet are shallow, but watch out as it drops off rapidly. I was out of my depth about 20 foot out... surprising when im over 6 foot... but worth a visit.. especially with a 2 taverna's and 2 boat hires and a dive school. Umbrella's are 2 euros on the beach and loungers are 2.5 euros for the day.

Love It here but insanely expensive 5 euros for a glass of local beer and food just as expensive. I could not believe how expensive all the taverna's were around here? Better off in more popular areas where competition brings prices a little lower. A sad reflection on Greeces economy at the moment applying a 70% tax on all income. For a family of 5 I was spending 400€ a day on food and drink. We were forced to eat in a lot as it was too expensive. Not what you want to be doing on a much needed family holiday. Canary...

I do not recommend this place, the most expensive beds on the beach and arrogant service. After paying for the bed, the staff started to make problems that we brought a bottle of our water and I was told to throw away the cup of coffee that I had previously bought elsewhere. When we did not agree to it and we wanted to recover the money for the bed and move to another place, we were not given it back. In other places you have never had problems with your own drinks, choose...
