Gran Domenica Villa Corfu — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Wonderful!!

We spent a wonderful week in this comfortable villa. Layout is practical and worked very well for our group of 6 The villa has a welcoming energy & is perfectly positioned on the hillside with beautiful views overlooking the bay below. The pool area was so enjoyable and essential during the intense heatwave. We also loved the balcony area for breakfast or simply sipping wine and chatting in the shade. The sitting room is particularly comfortable with a generous tv & soft sofas. House keeping called mid stay to replenish towels & change beds etc which was a lovely bonus. Kitchen is fully functional and convenient. Beds firm but comfortable. Water pressure in showers great. Washing machine easy to use & convenient. Spyros was always helpful and always quick to reply to any texts particularly when we woke to no power on our first day. He immediately found out information for us ( repairs in the area and not an internal issue). Joanna called in person on our first day and she was so lovely & friendly. I simply cannot find fault with anything. Previous reviews mentioned the interior as being a little tired or in need of updating, but honestly it is charming and more importantly everything is very clean & works well. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa. Whenever we decide to return again to Corfu we will always choose this Airbnb if it is available based on its comfort, cleanliness, functionality & location. The gateway is tight (we had a large van) it’s best to reverse in, the wall juts out slightly on the left (as you reverse in) & the shrubbery can make it a tricky entrance to navigate especially in the dark but it *is possible to fit in :) Joanna told me they managed to get a camper in last year!! Also: I highly recommend Nisaki beach which is just 5 mins down the hill, a beautiful place to snorkel & swim & great food and drinks, vibes & people. Also there is a handy supermarket on top of the hill that leads to that beach. Overall both the villa & its location worked perfectly for us. Thank you Spyros & Joanna for having us. The house is equipped with absolutely everything You would need including things like a pool table and a ping-pong table.
