Long, sandy beach, with plenty of space for free beach goers and minimal facilities.
Both the beach and the water are clean, except maybe for the areas close to the ends.
The sand is nice and welcoming. The water entry has pebbles and small rocks for the first five steps. After that, there are several meters of relatively shallow water (up to 1.5m) with sand.
I went for 10 days, and the sea was calm in most days. A couple of times, it was windy, and there were small, pleasant waves.
The beach has showers, and the trash is cleaned daily. There are no changing boots and no public toilets.
Most of the beach is free. In some areas, the local hotels have sunbeds, available only to the clients of the hotels. There are no sunbeds for rent.
One can leave the umbrella and chairs on the beach at night, and they will be there in the morning.
There is a beach bar at one end, near the playground. At the other end, the only sports rental facility offers water jets and paragliding.
In between, a few tavernas near the beach sell drinks and food (and have toilets for customers).

Water was full of grass from fishing nets toghether with bunch of plastic bags in pieces. Sometimes we felt stink in the water. Beach seems to be not maintained at all and contaminated. Kids could not swim in this garbage so we had to find other beaches. Luckily, Sithonia is full of them. If water would be clean this would be nice, quiet and clean beach to visit.
