Private beach. They offer you 2 types of sunbeds and 3 types of umbrellas (one is a wood structure with curtains in front of the beach). The less expensive is 10€ 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for alla day, the 2nd 20 euros that we chose the 2 times that have been there because we were ok with the umbrella and the sunbeds were the same for the 30€ and 40€ offer. You can't bring drinks and food from the outside because you have to order from their bar. I have to admit that here we ate the best and the most delicious Greek salad on the island (maybe there is another place but this is a 10+). We also ate a souvlaki and desserts. The salted caramel brownie was the best I have eaten in my life and the yogurt with honey is illegal. You have to come here once. The bar has an exotic atmosphere, the guys that work there have a uniform that reminds me of Bali and they are kind. I also love the sand beach a lot because of it's low water till 50/60 m far away. There is a shower and also toilets. For me is a go and I advice you to go there. I can't believe that someone can be disappointed.
If you want to go to a similar place that has "no rules" you can go to the old Alykanas Beach.

Read moreIt's a well-organized beach, with beach umbrellas lined up, Adria-style. It can be of your taste or not. Said that, the beach is clean, the prices are moderate (7 Euros/day for a parasol and two sunbeds, 10 Euro for the first couple of rows with larger beds), the sunbeds are in perfect conditions. The water is clear and warm, and it deepens gradually, which is very safe for children. There is background music going on the whole day, so if you don't like it (I don't) stay at the sides of the beach. During our stay it was not crowded, actually it was quieter than I expected. I find it good both for families and for teenagers. The beach bar is very nice, good seating with view of the sea and some beautiful trees spending some shadow. All is in very good condition and looks upscale. The food may not be exceptional, but is on par with any other place on the island. It's a mix of Greek cuisine, with some fish, souvlaki and appetizers, and international food with decent burgers and quite good salads. The price is higher than in other tavernas around, however I find it ok considering the place and the choice of food. Would I...
Read more⚠️⚠️ DO NOT USE BANANA BEACH BUS ⚠️⚠️ They have 3 buses in the morning from surrounding areas but only one bus going back at 5 pm. Yesterday we came with the bus at 11:30, driver did not provide any cards to return and did not tell us to purchase a receipt. When the return bus came at 5 pm there was a big crowd and we could not board. Driver started causing a huge mess, screaming at people for not having a return card (We wanted to explain the situation but he spoke only 3 words of English, in a job where you work with tourists). He started laughing at people for not having return cards, and at one point started AGGRESIVELY snatching money from people who wanted to desperately pay and get on board, and putting it IN HIS OWN POCKET!!! ON A "FREE" BUS!!! Eventually we managed to force our way through without paying him, although several people could not get on board and had to take the city bus. People like this driver give a bad name to Greece. Tourists beware - you come to this island and give the locals money, and in return they treat you...
