Do not get ripped off here. Firstly "our card machine isn't working " is not your problem. This is the oldest trick in the book to get to to pay cash. Don't fall for it Unless you are told upfront so you can decide to eat elsewhere, it's not your problem. When you are directed to an ATM with a 30% service fee up the road, you simply say either my card doesn't draw cash or I've reached my daily limit. At this point their card machine will miraculously start working or they can process your card in the restaurant next door or you can call in the next day to pay with your card. Not cash. The food was reasonable The waiter/kitchen made several mistakes and we were told we wouldn't be charged but we were and noticed in time to correct it. Greece is full of wonderful restaurants run by hard working people. This restaurant gives wonderful Greece a bad name and we will be reporting them. The Greek tourist board is proud of their countries integrity and honesty and have made great progress in clamping down on chancers and rip off joints. Stand your ground. You have rights. You've worked hard for your holiday. I hope you found this...
Read moreWe got charged at least €100 more (we got the invoice and we checked later in the evening who had what and how much it costed). We were 9 adults and 3 kids. We could never ever pay 543 EURO. How much can you eat? And we only had a bottle of prosecco that costs 25 euro and 1 wine carafe (12 or 16 euro)… if we would eat for €250 and drink for 250 euro then the bill would be reasonable… but we didn’t… As I saw in the previous reviews it’s a common thing that happens in this restaurant. We celebrated a birthday so we didn’t look too much at the invoice and we paid it without complaining or checking it…. maybe it’s also our fault by doing so but it’s a pity to squeeze that amount of money extra…. My advice is to write down your order and have already the total when you ask for the bill not to get scammed. The owners should be ashamed of stealing from customers that would come back but in this case… it’s clear that we will never...
Read moreWe were staying in the neighbourhood of this family run restaurant from 28.September to 05. October…and had 5 times dinner at this place. The ambience is amazing and they have an elaborate card. What helped us greatly to cease opportunities was that indicated if they had special deliveries e.g. Red Progy and were straight forward in indicating that the selection was probably best served to two person. The plan for us was to “dig” into Greek cuisine during our stay… so can’t speak to any other dishes on the card. What we had was simply every time a delight. They do have a good selection of wine too. (It helps to be by foot…I suggest Lardera!) Epharisto @ Team...
