Casa Diego Ignacio — Attraction in Quiché

I can't even speak enough words about how amazing this place is to stay. It's magical. The family is so lovely. I would recommend staying more than just for the market. And doing the things that the family has to offer. They are so kind and sweet and authentic. Chichi castanango is actually a very beautiful little town and there's more to do there than just a market. But the market is really cool. And this place is like a 10-minute walk from the market which is perfect. I can't even recommend this place enough the beds are the most comfortable beds I've probably stayed at in all of my travels. The air is fresh and crisp and cool. The rooms are extremely clean. Very comfy blankets and sheets. Not even one little complaint about this place I highly recommend...

Learning from Miguel and his family was an incredible experience. The program was customized for our group and we wished we had more time! This is a must when visiting Chichicastenango. While we learned a little history about the current city and also Mayan traditions, there were also other “excursion” opportunities we didn’t have a chance to try that looked great.
