Roatan Getaway Tours — Attraction in Roatán

We recently did the Roatan 3-stop snorkelling tour and beach break. It was an amazing trip! We arrived to Roatan on a cruise. We were worried it might be hard to find the company/guide but clear instructions were given. Our transfer driver to the boat was amazing! He gave us lots of interesting information en route. He gave us just enough detail (not too much as is sometimes the case) and was very clear and easy to understand. A lovely man who was very passionate about where he lived. The snorkelling was equally brilliant. We were given snorkels and fins. We stopped at 3 beautiful locations (altho all quite close to each other but 3 very different experiences). Deep water, shallow water and a reef. We saw lots of fish and sea life and unexpectedly even a shipwreck! Drinks were included too. I would have no hesitation recommending the trip to anyone arriving by cruise who wants to save money (compared to the cruise prices). Our experience was completely seamless and after chatting to some people on board the cruise who went on cruise excursions, they actually remarked that their experience was quite chaotic in comparison. Was the highlight of our cruise. The cruise lines try to make you think doing their excursions are the way to go but you really get your bang for your buck here. First off I thought we were out of our excursion because our ship had to port early because of a medical emergency and we had to go to Cozumel a day early, we didn’t buy WiFi so we really had no way to call or email the company but to my surprise we went to pick up area the next day to try our luck and they were there waiting for us even though we missed our time. There was only a group of 8 of us. Our guide Ronald who was very informal of everything we asked about Honduras took us to see the sloths, monkeys and the exotic birds. You get to interact with all the animals and take your own pictures. Next we went snorkeling and saw some really beautiful fish, non stinging jellyfish and stingrays. We have been snorkeling before but nothing was as beautiful as the reef we saw here after snorkeling I thought it was done but Ronald was nice enough to give us a 3rd option and we picked a beach. Will recommend Roatan Getaway Tours every single time!! Book with them! We booked the “all in one adventure” & couldn’t recommend it enough! 1. Kendra was our tour guide. She was very kind, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and fun! She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted (down to going to get us horchata while we snorkeled cause we mentioned wanting some). I liked that my party of 2 had a private tour guide to show us around instead of being put in a van with 10 strangers. 2. The zip lining was so much fun! The team out there had such fun personalities and did lots of cool tricks. 3. The monkeys/sloths were friendly and well kept. Their habitats were clean and large enough. 4. The snorkeling was beautiful! Equipment was newer and not run down. The guide was nice and patient. They split the group into 2 smaller groups (1 with kids/1 without) which was nice.
