Very surprised to see very few reviews. This place is awesome and a hidden gem. We went there this month under a Royal Caribbean excursion and was definitely worth it! The water is beautiful and perfect for those with little kids. The swimming area was perfect. They have chairs and shaded areas as well as hammocks to relax. They offer snorkeling tours for an affordable extra fee. We only did the snorkeling trip to the sunken Atlantis. Next time we'll try the reef. They have a bar for the adults and plenty of other activities for all ages. They have outdoor showers to rinse off and restrooms. I would highly recommend it and will definitely come back on our next cruise stop to Roatan. Don't pass on this.

This was a very enjoyable day spent here. We arrived in the morning at 0930 and were the only ones there. Beautiful beach, Bar, Restaurant, beachside drink and food service, hammocks, no fee to use beach facilities. $10 round- trip water taxi. The manager was on site and was a pleasure to with. We had our own snorkelling gear so enjoyed their underwater monuments and local sea life. The food was ok, seems everywhere we went and tried the fries they were not crispy - limp French fries are simply not very good. The drinks were made to standard. The views were spectacular. We stayed for 6 hrs - highly recommended.

First trip. Ordering food takes a long time... near an hour, so keep this in mind. Beer and soda don't take long, though. Beach area is nice. Not too deep clear water with several pelopas in maybe 4 feet water. Many chairs to relax in. Places to rest in shade or in full sun as you wish. Bathrooms are not far away. Seems nice enough and kept clean. Boat from French harbor can run $10 round trip.

Absolutely incredible experience — worth every penny and easily the highlight of our entire cruise. The 45-minute bus ride from the port was comfortable, and our tour guide, Dennis, made it even better with his knowledge of Honduras and Roatán’s history. He really brought the island to life during the drive.

Once we arrived, we took a short boat ride over to the island itself, and it felt like entering our own private paradise. The beach was gorgeous — calm, clean, and never crowded. Plenty of loungers, shady spots, iguanas and parrots wandering around, even some monkeys nearby. You can snorkel, swim, or do absolutely nothing — which is exactly what we wanted.

The food deserves its own review. Hands down the best meal of the entire trip — better than what we had on the ship or in any of the ports. The chicken, fish, and rice with beans were all full of flavor, and the hot sauce — this bright yellow-orange sauce — was the best I’ve ever tasted. I still think about it. Drinks were priced fairly (about $20 for a bucket of six local Honduran beers), and they were cold and delicious.

The staff was attentive, friendly, and there were plenty of them — never had to wait long for anything. Everything about this excursion felt relaxed and well-run. If I could give it 10...

Other than my wedding day and the day my child was born, this was THE best day of my life. The food was amazing and so fresh, the service was impeccable, and don't even get me started on the location: the crystal clear & calm warm 🌊, the gorgeous coral 🪸, the beautiful trees 🌴, and the intermittent but perfectly positioned hammocks. My God was this place amazing. My best friend had her wedding there, and it was so EPIC, despite there only being 5 of us in the wedding party. The only thing I could POSSIBLY say is watch your tab, bc I blinked and suddenly, voila, my tab was over $100 just for moi, ...and also maybe don't wait til you're at the key to style your hair lol. We went in October, and were afraid the styles would be destroyed in the van and boat trip from the cruise ship 🚢...and our hairstyles had to be simplified & redesigned to basically messy buns, bc the originally planned styles kept melting down our necks and face lol. There are worse problems to have. 🤷‍♀️

I've been dreaming of going back ever since we...

Sometimes people sell you the paradise, let's go kayaking, and then go snorkeling on the reef they said . Turns out that once there you won't snorkle on the reef but since the organization is questionable at best you will spend 17 minutes in the water racing behind your guide in some plastic wasteland. What about the kayak experience then. Well it was great 15 minutes tops to go around the place. By the time we were done I definitely built some muscle. I can skip the gym.

The place has is specialties too. Yes the parrots are running free. But what about the 5 tigers living as a failed experiment of a tourist attractions ? Their cages are about as big as a cruise ship cabine ( but not the suites ...)

The staff in a very condescending manner communicate in Spanish so they think we will not understand that they know they run a tourist trap and they wish you could stay for ever to fill up the cash register

As a summary spend your cash...
