Hungarospa Aquapark — Attraction in Hajdúszoboszlói járás

This aquapark was probably very good some 20..30 years ago.. Now it needs another approach as people changed and the quality of services are not as good as they should be. Staff is not smiling at all and seem bother if you dont speak their language, which is strange as foreigners seem to be the majority of the tourists. Same goes for some hotels and stores in the city. Empolyees are very bored and bothered by any questions. They dont even say hello or goodbye or thank you. The prices got very high for entrance to pools/ food. I think it lost any advantages it had over other destinations. Prices are the same as the newest and far better Debrecen waterpark. Why going to Hajduszoboszlo? Water is cold in the kids area of the aquapark. They have to many tickets ranges. One ticket for general entrance, another ticket if you want water slides, another ticket if you want some new invented premium area (????). Sun beds another ticket. Safe deposit/ lockers another ticket. What a joke is the safe deposit:)))). It is a small box on the coridor where you have to wait for a lady to open your safe box each time you want to pick up your wallet/ phone or whatever you had there. And again this lady seems soooo annoyed if you ask her to open your box. Rolling her eyes and coming in slow motion. Overall it is a 2000s spa that improved nothing over the years, except for prices that got higher. I dont know how it still has good reviews... Maybe the people that go there have low...

Massive location with loads of swimming pools and water park with small slides for kids and big slides for adults. Only kids 10 yrs+ can access the big slides, which can be problematic if you have an adventurous 8/9 yrs old. You get access to the swimming pools area first and then, for an optional additional cost you can get access to the waterpark area. You can get in and out of the waterpark into the swimming pools area as you get a wristband with a bar code. But you cannot leave the swimming pools area and return unless you get a more expensive ticket with two entries. Inside there are lots of places to eat good food (cooked food too not just burgers and fries). My only complaint was that the swimming lanes were not signalled a bit better. There should be slow/medium/fast lanes, clearly marked and also the swimming direction should be indicated. At busy times, all the lanes are busy with slow swimmers making it nearly impossible to swim. Also a lot of people hang on lanes or cross the lanes in front of the swimmers. This whole area can be improved and policed...

As this was a weekend the standard poolside was literally stuffed with people. I we wouldn't have gone specially to the slide park this would have been a 2 star. The food was also of even lesser quality than it is expected from such a place. Otherwise the slide experience is ok and the overall experience is ok. One star minus though for the staff, almost all young people (that's a positive), guys flirting with girls (that's still natural) but unfortunately to such an extent that 1. people has to wait and literally tell the guys at the top of the slides that it's their turn because they do not pay attention who goes down and when ( and meanwhile chitchatting, checking tiktok and fellow coworkers of the other gender - and this is on the dangerous side I think); 2. 4 guys courting 1 girl at the bureau and meanwhile neglecting the guests (this is...
