Interesting-looking B&B located in a small, quiet street, within 2-3 minutes walk from one the main attractions of Hajduszoboszlo - the Aqua Palace pools and indoor water park. There are two buildings on the property build in a castle themed architecture, we booked an apartment in building B, with two rooms, a bedroom and a kitchen-diner-living room combo with a terrace and direct access to the garden. Both rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, warm earth colors, nice and homey, bed was a bit small and hard. Garden is large, well-maintained with plenty of parking space.||||Regarding the cleanliness, we found a mix of immaculately clean bedding, sheets and towels, while the kitchen area had coffee spots on the cabinet doors and a noticeable amount of sugar spilled on the floor between the kitchen furniture. Patio furniture was also dusty. ||||The front-desk staff was friendly and helpful, explained everything we needed to know about the access to the property, about adjusting the room temperature, offered a discounted voucher to the water park, overall a very guest-friendly attitude, which we appreciate and are thankful for.||||Unfortunately cannot say the same about the person handling the reservations. I was not happy with the way the handled my notice regarding their contradictory pricing for pet accommodation published on their website and a booking website I used to book the suite: after my email signaling the errors, they simply adjusted the price to the highest level on both sites, and informed me that is the rate.||||The cleanliness issues mentioned and the tourist-friendly attitude of ALL staff are small details that, if taken care off, would make this B&B one of the top...
Read moreWe were traveling To Hajduszoboszlo in a group of 20, for business purposes. The reservation was made some months ago but we didn't expect such a great accommodation. There are two apartments and two 3-bed rooms on each floor. Each room has its own mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee filter, electric stove-top, and also cups, glasses, plates and everything you might need. All rooms have a terrace (too large to be called balcony). The bathroom is divided in toilet and shower room by a door. Hot water is running and heat is working properly. ||On the ground-floor they also have a large Jacuzzi and an infrared sauna.||It is very quiet, location is on a narrow street in the back of Aquacenter. Practically everything you need is at a walking distance. Parking is in the backyard, large enough for at least 15 cars. Overall, a very...
Read moreGood location, close to Aquapalace and restaurants. Inside parking space available. Poor internet connection, CRT TV with 9 channels, mostly unwatchable because of static. Refrigerator could not freeze a 200ml bottle of water within 4 days. Furniture very used and abused. The thermostat did not actually control the temperature, so it was just a thermometer. We had to ask for heat in our room because it was cold and we were with a 3 year old. The owner admitted that he forgot to turn the heat on...A lot of dirt on the stairs and everything was extremely dusty. The shower hose was leaking everywhere. Good water pressure though. The bed laundry was smelling like wood smoke and had small holes. Very loud neighbors - guests...we couldn't sleep until 2 AM. The corridor was used as a...
