The BJOSSAROLO playground is a interesting point of interest tucked away among the rocks. It can be found along the shore path leading to to the northwest from the parking area adjacent to Edduveröld in Borgarnes. After a short flat hike adjacent to a scenic black sand beach, the playground built of recycled material by Bjorn Gudmundsson comes into view and seems an oasis even if you don't have children with you. The imagination and commitment to sustainability of its creator are obvious. It is out of the wind and was worth a stop on your shore side stroll.

What a hidden gem. If you are travelling with a toddler and in town, you must visit! Named after the person who upcycled many different materials to make playground out of it. So colorful, and it feels like a secret place to hangout. Great view with access to trails and beaches. 3 slides, 2 automobiles, swings, bench, bridge, boat, so many things children will knock themselves out.

Beautiful children park handmade by a single man with reused materials, mostly wood and with beautiful colors. Hope they conserve it for the future. Beautiful views from all sides.

Tout simplement le paradis des enfants ! Au bord de l'eau, dans un lieu calme et arboré (pas si fréquent en Islande), une bonne douzaine de structure en bois peintes de toutes les couleurs : balançoires, tobbogans, cabane... Idéal pour une pause déjeuner en plein air, avec plusieurs tables de picnic à proximité. À faire absolument si vous êtes de passage dans le secteur avec des enfants !
