Bjössaróló Playground — Attraction in undefined

The BJOSSAROLO playground is a interesting point of interest tucked away among the rocks. It can be found along the shore path leading to to the northwest from the parking area adjacent to Edduveröld in Borgarnes. After a short flat hike adjacent to a scenic black sand beach, the playground built of recycled material by Bjorn Gudmundsson comes into view and seems an oasis even if you don't have children with you. What a hidden gem. If you are travelling with a toddler and in town, you must visit! Named after the person who upcycled many different materials to make playground out of it. So colorful, and it feels like a secret place to hangout. Great view with access to trails and beaches. 3 slides, 2 automobiles, swings, bench, bridge, boat, so many things children will knock...

Very nice old fashioned handmade playground. Very unique next to the sea, with a little beach & a viepiont on a high cliff nearby. Nice walking paths & a few cafés close by. Very nice view over the fjord & Borgarnes...
