Perfectly placed right across the street from the entrance (I think it's the West entrance) to the Taj Mahal!
Has a great selection and excellent quality of souvenirs. Prices are very fair so I did not even try to bargain (I think they have fixed prices anyways).
Magnets start from 50 rupees and go up to 250 rupees for proper marble magnets.
They have a small but good selection of mugs priced between 500 to 600 rupees.
Large and medium Snowglobes with the Taj Mahal inside. The large one that I bought was 700 rupees. You can find decent plastic ones everywhere in Agra (Street stalls) and they always start at 300 rupees but if you simple move away they'll quickly go down to 250...ok 200....keep walking.... OK ok 100 rupees. So depends what you want. I collect glass Snowglobes and these were just perfect and we'll priced.
They obviously have textiles and inlaid marble and bronze and wooden statues, tea and spices. But they don't press you very hard. They just present their wares as all professionals and leave you in...
Read moreThis was the best shop we visited in India! A lot of shops we were taken to on our tour had very high pressure sales and prices came out of thin air. This shop had transparent prices and were clearly marked on every item. Even shopping mall clothes shops have high pressure sales so this shop was such a nice experience with friendly, courteous staff who took time to explain but also allowed free time to browse without tracking you! We bought several items and were also offered further discounts. Very easy to deal with and fair prices. Items were all well wrapped for the journey home. This shop is at the Taj Mahal west entry roundabout - ask your guide or driver to take you here as we did after reading Google reviews. 100% recommend! You will not regret coming to this shop- very significantly cheaper for the same quality we were shown in another shop on our tour. Take home a little bit of the Taj Mahal to remember a...
Read moreA wonderful store and an amazing seller! If you're going to buy marble - buy it here! I knew nothing about this marble work before but the salesman taught me a lot. I happened to be standing outside the store and started talking to the seller. He was so genuinely nice that even I, who am allergic to pushy salespeople, became curious about the store. He showed around and explained how the work was done, what distinguished between different types of marble and stones and what determines the price. There are lots of nice things! Everything is marked with a price and you can walk around the store and look in peace and quiet without feeling pressured to buy anything. I didn't buy anything the first time but came back the next day and bought some really nice memories from Agra. The shop can keep really good prices because they don't give commission to guides and...
