Hotel Rudra Vilas — Hotel in Agra

I selected this hotel upon seeing the ratings. Wanted to stay for a night near Taj so that can go for morning visit. Was impressed with online images and also that they have a restaurant. The deal for room was great, so booked. After landing at the hotel realized it's not aptly for family people. The rooms are okay, not very clean. Bathrooms are pathetic it seems that they didn't do any proper maintenance. Cracked washbasin, rusted showers, dirty walls....everything had a problem or an issue. Had to ask for toiletries and then got some pathetic soap, which I will not use after motion. So bought soaps from local shop. Rooms are okay, bed lamps don't work, desk had a layer of dirt. The good part in all this is the service, they listen to you and try to clean wherever we have shown them the dirt but rusted and broken things need to be replaced. And the bathroom doors were broken too. The food is average we had lunch and breakfast. They serve vegetarian food and options are fine, our favourites from the breakfast menu is Poha and Paneer Paratha. Overall this hotel is good for single person, students or people who are not very strict followers of hygiene. Not at all...

By far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Footprints on the pillow, a completely dirty bath mat, the entire floor was covered in a film of dirt and dust and the bathroom was almost disgusting. The fittings and furnishings bore witness to an originally good substance - the foundation was once tastefully harmonised. However, the renovation and plaster backlog hardly reveals any of this. Internet wasn’t working, they didn’t provided TV remote, I asked them why don’t you provide tv remote “It is our policy”, they said. Worst room condition, no blanket, pillow cover were tempered, you can not bath in the bathroom as tap is not in good condition, shower have 2-4 holes open rest all are closed, jet spray for toilet was broken, they don’t have clean blanket, you need to go Gym to open the door lock, we stayed in room 210 which was still batter than other so you can...
