Firstly let me guide you on "how to get complete devotional experience from Vijayawada?"
My suggestion is to plan a 3 day trip starting with devotional experience on day 1.
Plan to reach the city in early hours of the day and start your journey by darshan of Vinayaka Temple near KR market.
Those who want to offer their hair to Devi can offer in tonsure hall near the auspicious hill. Then you can start again from Vinayaka temple.
Bajarang Bali Hanuman is the Kshetra Palaka of Indra keeladri. Do visit nearby Hanuman temple before having darshan of Durgamma. Then you can head for Durgamma temple either by ghat road or by walk. You can experience a complete devotion while walking for Durgamma darshan. You can either get free darsan or ticket based darshan. After darshan of Durgamma, head towards Lord Shiva temple settled there as Mallikarjuna Swamy. On your way, you can experience a lot of devotional things. One of such is mirror sanctum and also toys and other things from local vendors. Do buy from them if you like. Visit Mallikarjuna Swamy temple and nearby deities as well. There you complete your Indrakeeladri journey. If you still have energy, do visit ancient temples surrounding the hill. Like Vijayeswara Swamy temple (it is said to be started by Arjuna after getting gandiva weapon from Lord Shiva), Brahmarambha Mallikarjuna Swamy temple (popularly known as old Shivalayam) also Vasanta Mallikarjuna Swamy temple (known as Buddhu Vari Sivalayam). Whenever I visit these trio of Shiva temples I can experience peace no matter how much frustrated I am.
Now you have done with part 1 of your spiritual journey in Vijayawada. Take rest now, you can't do more.
On day 2 head towards Mughalrajpuram Hill where people consider this hill as Durgamma's born house. Do start in early hours and make sure to visit the main temple by 7.30 AM sharp, you can see the morning pooja. On your way to the hill (which the way is zigzag) you can see deities of Ganesha, Kartikeya, Shiva and other deities as well. It was said that when a proper, Dharmic desire of you which is yet to be fulfilled can be done if you heartfully ask Durgamma here. Also once desire is fulfilled, you must do what you vowed for Durgamma for fulfilled desire. Once you complete your darshan your spiritual journey is completed.
If you have enormous energy, try visit Ganesha Temple located on Hilltop of Indra keeladri, even top of Durga Temple. You can head way to Undavalli, near Vijayawada to see Undavalli caves where Vishnu Murty's deity resembling his posture on Adi Seshan could be seen.
On day 3, chill and go for shopping. Try places like PVP, Trends, Trendset and D address mall which can be easily accessible. In the evening, walk on to Prakasam Barrage to see the beauty of Krishna River. Try street food in Vijayawada which is famous for its taste. At somewhere around 9pm on day 3 you can leave to Vijayawada Bus Station (named after Pandit Nehru) or Railway station (Vijayawada Junction) whichever you prefer for your return journey.
Happy Touring...
