This pond is known for its purity and it is said if you take bath in this pond you will be free from all the evils and will give you positivity.The story behind the formation of this pond is that once Lord Bharama visited this place and he found that the place is not clean and he was a bit upset by seeing this so Lord Vishnu used his sudharshan Chakra to clean the place and in the process of cleaning the sudharshan chakra broke and fell down till then this place is known as chakra teertham. This teertham has a swayambhu lingam and the rocks at this place are the major attraction because they are almost 100 to 200 years old and still looks astounding. People visiting tirupati visit this place also to take blessings of Lord Vishnu. It is a perfect place to meditate and hear the sound of water gushing through the hills along with the chirping of birds you can also see the rare birds in this place.
