Kasavanahalli is a beautiful lake in Harlur. The lake is very well maintained with trees and plants around the lake. The water quality is also very good. You can spot many fishes in the lake and a variety of birds, butterflies and dragonflies. The birds that can be spotted in and around the lake are : Pelican, Spot-billed Duck, Little Grebe, Grey Headed Swamphen, Eurasian Coot, painted Stork, Open bill Stork, Cormorant, Egret, Heron, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Asian Koel, white browed wagtail, Brahminy kite, Black Kite, Greater Coucal, Red whiskered Bulbul etc. The lake has a gravel trail of about 2.2km around it for walking,...

Kasavanahalli Lake is undoubtedly the best Bangalore can offer. Nestled between apartment complexes, Kasavanahalli Lake is a pristine beauty providing a breath of fresh air, amazing biodiversity and an awesome place for your fitness activities. The perimeter of this lake is huge and it usually takes 30 odd minutes to cover the entire area. One cannot just walk , run or jog here without clicking photos and recording videos.
