Okay, so this place opened recently compared to other South Indian outlets. Before this we were frequently haunting Vishnu Leela Veg, and for some reason we never felt that compelled to visit this. It's a huge one, with an AC dining option too. There are snack options to the right, juices to the left and their main kitchen in the centre. . . . . Still, we never felt like visiting. And no matter which second, hour, day, or night, or date we passed through this outlet it would be swarming with happy, cheerful folks with chatter and conversation. We would always wonder, what do people eat here all the time? . . . . Out of curiosity, we tried once. The food is decent. We had chole bhature. The 2nd time we visited after an exhausting visit to the hospital. We were super hungry. And as usual we were intimidated by the crowd, wondering how the food and service would be... But the same day a group of jolly uncles had their reunion kind of thing. They too opted for the AC hall. . . . . . Now a good thing about this place is that you can get dosa in their lunch too (we didn't opt for this, but the uncles did, they had 17 masala dosas!). We ordered a deluxe South Indian meal (a half heartedly taken picture attached). The food was light, healthy, and tummy filling. I just craved for a North Indian dish and I would have had two more helpings of rice. . . . . Now the reason for dragging this review so long is that in spite of the huge crowd, the store manager made the attendants note down every tiny detail of customisation, and ensured that every customer was promptly attended to. Mostly, restaurants get too engaged with a section of customers, but here they ensured that other tables were also equally attended. Moreover, the quality didn't drop. I guess I got my answer behind the...

During even normal crowds, if you order any dosa here in the self-service section, you can forget about getting it in the proper order. Even if you specifically ask for no oil, they’ll serve you something dripping with oil. They routinely shuffle the order receipts to prioritise their so-called “royal” customers while others are made to wait indefinitely.
I kept taking photos of my order receipts as evidence and repeatedly complained to the store manager, suggesting they implement a simple token system to make it fair for all. He showed zero interest, refused to even look at my photos, and insisted (laughably) that his staff were doing their job correctly and I was the one making a mistake. When I asked why he wouldn’t introduce tokens, he said they "can’t do that even for a day." It’s obvious they don’t want to fix this scam because it benefits them.
I waited 30 minutes for my dosa while watching three entire rounds of other orders being served before mine – and only got it after sending my wife to keep reminding them. Had I been standing there quietly in the queue, who knows how long it would have taken.
The only reason they get away with this is there’s no other dosa shop on this road, so they run a monopoly and treat customers terribly. Better to avoid such places altogether if you don’t want to be humiliated, cheated on quality, and ignored when...
Read moreI visited Sri Vishnu Brundavana hotel today with my parents who came from Hyderabad to visit Bangalore. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, particularly due to the poor service quality provided by Mr. Siddhu, the order-taking person. Despite opting for the AC hall, we were met with rudeness and significant delays in taking our order. Mr. Siddhu's attitude was unprofessional, making statements like "this is not a government job," which is unacceptable in any customer service setting. Shockingly, many of the items we wished to order were unavailable, including rice items at noon, which is basic for any South Indian restaurant.
The lack of available items combined with Mr. Siddhu's disrespectful behavior greatly impacted our dining experience. I urge the restaurant management to take immediate action regarding Mr. Siddhu's employment. Such behavior not only tarnishes the hotel's reputation but also undermines the overall customer satisfaction. Removing Mr. Siddhu from his position is crucial to upholding the standards of service expected from Sri Vishnu Brundavana hotel and ensuring a positive experience for future patrons. My rating for this experience...
