So, my friend and I have been keen on visiting this place for a long time and finally, dropped by to check out their food and drinks. The place is large enough with seating arrangement segregated into smoking, non-smoking and party zones. Flattered by the vastness of the place, we checked with Mr. Ashok who was around ensuring that every visitor at La Casa has a wonderful experience, about La Casa. He told us that the place was a mansion owned by an avid traveller and a foodaholic who brought back authentic recipes from the places he visited. Indeed, the ambiance and décor of the place have a certain charm to them.
Baked Corn and Cheese Fritters – This incredible started is perfect if you love the heavenly combination of corn and cheese. While the gooey melted cheese inside the fritters was satisfying, the fact that these were baked and not fried brought more happiness as we munched onto these.
Jalapeno Cheesy Bites- The fusion of the jalapenos with cheese where the heat gives a kick as the cheese melts in our mouth is sheer happiness. Love these the most. The Cheesy bites are nothing less than pure joy.
Aglio-Olio Veg – As a pasta lover, the range of pasta a restaurant serves matters a lot. The Aglio- Olio Veg Pasta at La Casa was cooked well. Although, we were told that the pasta might appear dry as compared to the version cooked in a creamy sauce, nevertheless, we decided to try this one. Enjoyed the aroma of basil and flavor of crushed garlic and chilly flakes in which the spaghetti pasta was tossed in. The virgin olive oil in the pasta made it even more delicious and we were two happy souls after gobbling it down.
Pepperoncini Pizza – The best part is that Rhythm who was waiting our table was a genius at understanding his guests’ requests. So, we wanted to try their wood fire pizza (because I had heard a lot about it) but did not want to order a large one. Rhythm was prompt enough to offer a solution and suggested that he can get a smaller version for us. Well, that’s exactly what we wanted - to enjoy a slice or two. Well, the cute heart-shaped pizza (vegetarian) arrived in a matter of few minutes. The green, yellow and red peppers, jalapeno, black olives and mozzarella cheese made the pizza look tempting enough that we finished it in a span of few minutes. Also, the cilantro pesto sauce enhanced the flavor of the pizza.
Canadian Nanaimo – To satiate my perennial cravings for chocolate, I ordered Canadian Nanaimo which has a rich layer of semi-sweet chocolate that sits on top of a crust of cracker and nuts. Absolutely enjoyed it, more so because it was mildly sweet.
Mini desserts – This is more like a dessert tray which consists of caramel mango, strawberry rose, white chocolate berry mousse. If you are a mousse fan and you like your desserts to be creamy and rich, you must try these.
Tropical IPA- With 6.1% of alcohol, La Casa’s craft beer has a balanced bitterness with fruity hints of mango and other tropical fruits. This bright beer is strong, bright and hoppier.
Hujitos – This Thyme and Orange flavoured cocktail prepared with Bacardi White Rum was refreshing. This is an ideal thirst-quencher for the summer which will get you buzzed.
LIIT – Of course, the classic LIIT never disappoints and this one was presented in an exquisite manner.
La Casa, set in a mansion, offers a different vibe than other breweries in the city. The wooden furniture renders an elegant appeal to the place. The food, drinks and their service is remarkable which would make you want you to come back to this place again. Now that the summers are here, I am definitely coming back for their...

This brewery is here to stay folks..foodies and all the beer guzzlers take note.Located in the main road on the still improving Kasavanahalli area, this place is spread over 3 floors and can easily accommodate around 300 pax at full capacity .The moment you step inside, you are taken back in awe as the whole concept has been worked out with more emphasis on nature being a integral part.
It also has a small area for kids too with the cute little playing equipments too
The Service is amazingly efficient for the crowds they handle and these guys are so motivated that they make you feel comfortable...Passionate guys.
