This park named aftera Subhash Chandra Bose Park, the great freedom fighter of Indian is a huge park befitting the personality of Subhash Chandra Bose. There are lots and lots of trees, benches, swings for children and other equipments for outdoor play and exercise. There is a long and circular walking track paved with paved brick's . There are huge lawns where self exercises, yoga etc can be done. There are areas of multiple lawns and different group of people and easily find room. The park also had small sit outs as seen in one of my photos where one or group of people can sit. The entrance is bit narrow and due to road broadening work hoi g on for last many months, there us no proper parking space. Sweeping of inside park was not done properly as lots of dry leaves were found scattered everywhere in the park. Overall a good experience especially for health conscious citizens. Did nit find any drinking water and washroom facility in the park or nearby . Entrance is not wheel chair friendly . The park can be seen from the main road at the left while going towards Lt Karata chowk. Today 19 Oct 19 i rate it 3 star. I will review again after some days and rate it again. Thanks, fo visit with your spouce...
Read moreLast weekend, my family and I went to Subhash Chandra Bose HUDA Park and had a wonderful time. The park is huge and clean, with many plants and flowers. There are also amazing sculptures made from recycled materials that are very artistic and impressive. The park has a playground for children with different kinds of fun equipment. There is also a track for walking and exercising, as well as a badminton court and an amphitheatre for cultural events. The park has facilities for drinking water and washrooms.
The most enjoyable part of the park is the health drink vendors who offer neem, aloe vera, wheatgrass, and other natural juices. They are very tasty and beneficial for health. We had the neem and wheatgrass juices and they were very good. The vendors were very kind and helpful. They explained to us the advantages of the juices and how they were prepared.
We stayed in the park for about two hours and had a lot of fun. The park is an ideal place to relax and appreciate nature in the city. It is also very informative and inspiring to see how recycled materials can be turned into beautiful art. I would strongly suggest this park to anyone who is looking for a fun and healthy outing...
Read moreI visited this park in late October and was impressed with the metal sculpture installations around the park. Very well crafted with an eye for meticulous design, the structures which looked like they are made from waste metal scrap include a cyclist on a cycle, a spacecraft, an aeroplane, a batmobile, a bus, etc etc. At one end of the park I spotted 2 badminton courts where people were waiting for their chance to play. While the park has excellent green cover, none of the fallen autumn leaves had been swept and cleared away....making it look a bit uncared for. There are benches at regular intervals where one can sit down and just absorb the surroundings. There is a magnificent bust of Subhash Chandra Bose as soon as you enter the park, which is appropriate as the park is...
