India's first pollinator park is opened in Haldwani in the Nainital district.

• The park aims to conserve various pollinator species, create awareness among the general public about their importance, and promote further research on various aspects of pollination.

• The park has more than 40 pollinator species with displays on the mechanism of pollination of plant species by various species of butterflies, honeybees, birds, insects, moths, beetles, wasps, and small mammals.

Giving it 1 star as we were not allowed to visit the place though the place is inaugurated and open to all. The guards doesn't know where is pollinator park and they are sending one gate to another and at last they stated because of corona they can not allow us to enter. The location is also not accurate 😠 This is complete negligence of forest department officials that we have cane from a long way and it took around 1 hour us to locate the exact location still we were not allowed. They are saying it is first of its kind in india but the attitude of forest department officials is no different they doesn't care much about...

Wonderful venue. I loved every moment of the afternoon of my visit. Yes! Haldwani people should be VERY proud to have such a centre in their city. Admission charge should be hiked up to Rs 100/-. However, the appalling behaviour of guards on sentry is unchanged. They were paranoid and treated the site as if it were an extension of Haldwani Jail, & visitors like me as new inmates.
