First of all the service provided is just to the expectations of earning tips. I celebrated my son's birthday with my family. Since it had to be vegetarian only so we decided to go to athithi. We booked a table for 12 people. The starters were great no doubt but as soon as the cake was cut after the starters the server present at that time started asking for rewards (tips). I am a hotelier myself so knows the importance of tips for servers, but asking the same in the middle of the meal, I don't expect moreover asking at all I don't appreciate. The snacks were great no doubt but the main course was bland. Was so tasteless that none of my family members liked it. This was not the first time we had food with athithi but the first time on ala carte. Had hosted some events earlier but it was buffet and I always made sure to taste the food before being served. So maybe u would like to do the same. To the owner Please ask ur servers not to ask for tips and rewards, a person much likely to give them might not...
