After being a loyal customer of Lemon Park, this was the first time I tried a different Hotel in last 3 odd years and this was my LAST stay at Blue Sapphire, which is a great example of a wasted opportunity.
Pros: 1.) Right on NH 87, easy get away from outside the city limits and you won't miss it even if this is your first time to the area. 2.) Rooms are good, beds are separate and there is no noise from anywhere. It's a centrally air conditioned hotel, so no hassle of split or window a/c in the room. 3.) Bathroom is a little small, yet decent. 4.) Restaurant is good, and it's almost a bit too lavish for my taste. Food was not so great. I spoke to the Chef for about 5 mins and he convinced me to try out their Pizza and it turned out pathetic. Their Sweet Lassi is very good. Seating is good. 6.) Restaurant staff and reception staff is good and courteous
Cons: 1.) Room Service seems to be NON EXISTENT. It took me 6 calls to get my Tea Cups replaced (called at 9pm and they were replaced at 7am next day). The fellow who took my order in the restaurant - eventually came up to my room to replace my cups. I got the run-around by different people saying please call this to get X done, call this number to get Y done. Poor management clearly. 2.) Their basement parking is nothing short of a Sewer Smelling, Dark and Smelly Dungeon. Whoever has designed it has not the slightest idea of what Parking is. After being convinced of driving my car down to the dungeon (under construction allegedly yet no signs of any work being done) - it took me 10 mins to steer and maneuver to get my car out. ZERO room to maneuver. 3.) Other little things which were annoying enough for me to never come back here.
VERDICT: This is clearly a Banquet Hall and that's who their clientele is. Money lavishly spent on all the wrong things. Raise up salaries of your staff and improve Room Service and Accountability to run this...
Read moreThis is a good hotel, albeit a little outside of the city center. The staff here is very courteous and friendly and will entertain most, if not all of your requests.
As with most places, there are a few issues. I will write them out:
-The covered parking is located in the basement that is inaccessible via the elevator. Should you choose to park there, be advised that it a considerable distance. However, uncovered parking is also available right outside the hotel. -One has to take a really tight corner for the (covered) parking entry and exit, and there is a significant risk of scratching your vehicle. -The rooms are 'slightly' smaller. They are not inadequate by any means though. -Water heating is centralized and is not available 24 hours. If one needs to freshen up at 'odd hours' due to their schedule, they'll have to call the reception/room service around 30-45 minutes in advance. Otherwise it is available from 4am-10am and 6pm-10pm.
If none of these concerns apply to you, I would highly recommend this hotel. It does exceed expectations. I enjoyed...
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience with Hotel blue saphire. I want to share my frustration and dissatisfaction regarding their handling of my booking reservation and subsequent cashback request through Agoda.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was looking forward to a pleasant stay and the opportunity to redeem the cashback I had earned through Agoda. However, after completing my stay and waiting for two months, I was shocked to discover that my cashback request had been denied.
I reached out to the hotel to inquire about the reason for the denial, only to be informed that they had canceled my booking two months after my stay, citing that I had never shown up at the hotel. This left me perplexed and frustrated, as I had indeed stayed at the hotel as planned.
The lack of communication and the subsequent denial of my cashback request were extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I expected better customer service and transparency from management. It is essential for hotels to honor their commitments and provide accurate information to...
