Dr. A.S. Rao Nagar Colony Park — Attraction in Hyderabad

I visited this A.S. Rao Nagar park today with my family and while the park itself is well-maintained and has potential to be a peaceful and enjoyable space, I must express my disappointment with the behavior of some individuals within the park. Unfortunately, I observed that a number of teenagers and even adults were engaging in inappropriate activities, such as engaging in public displays of affection, including kissing and other intimate acts. This behavior not only disrupts the peaceful atmosphere of the park but also makes it uncomfortable for families and individuals who visit with their loved ones. In order to maintain a decent and family-friendly environment, it is crucial that steps are taken to prevent such behavior from taking place in the park. Increased monitoring and enforcement of park rules would greatly contribute to ensuring that everyone can enjoy the park without feeling uncomfortable or disturbed. Well maintained park with gym, children play area, skating arena, walking track, good plantation, green grass for sitting and playing, sitting benches for elders and all. The lighting in the parks at fountains is also good. However the water in ponds and fountains is not well maintained and gives stinking smell. This needs to be changed, as it is very near to the entrance and gives bad impression on the park. The entrance ticket is now increased to Rs.10/- which was earlier Rs.3/-. This can be reduced to Rs. 5/- because it's maintained by GHMC funds. Also there should be monthly pass provision for all, which is not available now. I am not sure if it's entrance is free for Senior citizens like other GHMC...

Dr.A.S.Rao Nagar Colony Park is a good place for morning walks. Nice greenery decorates this park well. There is a small skating rink and a small children's play area. Also, some learn martial arts here. Many people, old or young, come to this park to spend some time, breathing fresh air. The maintenance of this park is not up to the mark. The plants and trees are well-maintained, but not the entire park. Cracked flooring, broken play items, dirty fountain water etc...spoil the look of this park. Even the lighting in the fountain looks broken and old. Because of such low maintenance, the standard of this park fell down. Otherwise, this is a good place...
