The 52-acre new “City Park,” located in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, has officially opened to the public. It will surpass Central Park in Jaipur as the second-largest park after both phases are finished. According to Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora, the first phase of this park included horticulture work, civil work, a jogging track, etc., while the second phase included the construction of a large fountain square, three grand entry plazas, a botanical garden, an upper lake (water body), a parking lot, and a food court. The new “City Park” in Jaipur is modeled after Central Park in New York and Hyde Park in London. Previously, this area served as the metro’s garbage dump. The park’s layout is modeled like a golf course and includes a modest mounded garden. In the park, which is the main draw, there are 17 sculptures made of metal and stone.
Small flowering areas have been created, and 32 different tree and plant species have been planted for the park’s aesthetic appeal. Here, several lights in over six different designs have been installed. In addition, 120 cutting-edge benches and 6 water stations have been set up for the visitors to sit on. At the park’s entrance gate, a sizable fountain has been erected and will flow in the morning and evening. This fountain will also play music. In addition to this, there is additional space set aside in the Oxy Hub and Rock Fountain parking lots.
A 3.5-kilometer running path has been created in this park (a new city garden in Mansarovar, Jaipur) for people to use for their morning and evening strolls. At the same time, Central Park’s running path is 4 kilometers long. The entire walking path has music systems installed, and music will be played softly in the morning and evening. In addition, a kid-friendly play area has been created where youngsters can play without difficulty.
At the opening of the City Park Jaipur (the new city garden in Mansarovar Jaipur), the chief minister went to see the impressive entry plaza, dome-shaped steel structure, lovely fountain, and one-of-a-kind park antiques. This park also offers a 3.5 km long, 20 feet wide jogging track that visitors can use while exploring while taking in the lovely lighting and music. The park will also have 17 unique types of stone and metal artifacts, bathroom buildings, two parking spaces, an oxygen hub, a rock fountain, appealing and comfortable seating areas, and a water facility.
