Coming down from Raaya Gopura - I get these two Kolas right next to each other. As they are beautiful, pristine and adjacent to each other - they have been named Akka Tangi (elder sister & younger sister). These 2 kalyanis located on the way to Dhanushkodi and In complete Raya gopura. There's a folk story behind these kalyanis and due to some curse elder sister (Akka kola) kalyani is not used for Cheluva Narayana swamy rituals but younger sister (Tangi kola) kalyani is used due to her devotion towards God.
