RARS Or Regional Agriculture Research Station is one of the agriculture research station in wayanad. Rars provide many extension activities for the people and farmers. They provide outlet and nursery for supply plant saplings and other farm products. In the vast fields of RARS we can see different variety of crops. The poopoli international flower show is done by RARS along with college of agriculture. We can visit RARS and also there have meteorological station and weather information is also provided by RARS. The flower arrangement and quality is excellent. However the management could be better organised. Lack of display boards in English at the ticket counter and help desk is to be addressed.
