While strolling through Chandrapur, I stumbled upon an impressive British fort-style structure, later identified as Jatpura Gate. This 500-year-old architectural wonder is part of the historic Chanda Fort, which encircles the old city. As one of the four narrow exits, Jatpura Gate bears the brunt of heavy traffic, yet its historical significance and archeological importance make it a protected monument under ASI (Archaeological Survey of India).
