Read moreIn a dry place like Talegaon, this lake is a blessing for all residents in and around the lake. Because of its large spread and small hills around, there is constant play of air and breeze that makes the whole locality much more pleasant as compared to other parts of this township. Visitors can come by cars and two wheelers and park close to the lake. And then just sit at the lake or take a walk around. Read moreIt’s quite a serene place to spend an evening with family/friends - or even just alone. There’s a ~2 km walking/jogging track along the lake. There are a few benches installed on the initial stretch, if you start walking anti-clockwise after entering. The place is generally clean.
You will find some local idiots riding their two wheelers on the track with utter disregard for the safety of the walkers; watch out for them, and don’t leave kids unattended. Not suitable for visiting during the monsoon as the mud track gets slushy.
