Vazira Ganesh Temple — Attraction in Mumbai

I visited this place after 12 years. The fact that I loved the most is that there is absolutely no shape or form shifting of the main temple. The narrow lane from the main road that leads to the temple still has its old charm. The place is peaceful as always. I visited in the afternoon around 1:30pm and i had ample time on my hands. I spent about 2hours + at the temple. If it is not a busy day nobody will bother you or ask you to move. There is a washroom available for both men and women.There is a cold water dispenser at the temple. The temple is busy on Tuesdays, Ganesh chaturthi and angarika. There is a pond right next to the temple with ducks and turtles. But it's closed with too much barricading.

Easily accessible by BEST bus or a Rickshaw. Its a prime junction.

I am visiting this temple since childhood. Looking for a peace? Just come here and sit you'll feel all the positive energies around you. Thus temple is situated right at Vazira Naka in borivali west. Very famous temple. It is a swayambhu Ganpati Mandir. People visit from every part of Mumbai to seek blessings of bappa. Tuesdays and specials days are crowded here generally. Staff is very polite temple is really very clean. Temple also has Saibaba, Dattatrey, and hanuman mandir. It also has Lake with tortoise, ducks and few fishes. It will always boost your mood whenever you are low. During covid times they have taken all the precautions. This rating is for the management there where they don't even keep any Prasad for the people who come there for Darshan. Bhadji's attitude is not welcoming and found very Robotic. I mean thousands of people come daily and make lakhs of donations, but these temples don't even want to give 1 pedha to its devotees. They give reason of Pandemic but they are ready to take all the offerings in the name of Bappa. Also The pond of the little ducks is all gone to worse and hardly any of them is left, obviously bcz no one's maintaining it. Even the people staying in the vicinity were complaining about the corruption of the management which is very noticeable.
