Burger King — Restaurant in Mumbai

Well, what can I say about this particular Burger King: Their Menu is good. Prices are amazing as well. I went in for a Whopper meal for two and I was surprised by the number items we received in the 600 something we paid. Everything about Burger King says that it should be competing toe - to - toe with McDonald's. The competition is so fierce in this particular location because this construction has BK, McD, and Domino's literally under one roof. But repeated visits to the joint made me realize that why this one is not catching up, despite being in a pretty good location. The moment you enter the Burger King doors, you are greeted with Heat! I know they specialize in grilled chicken burger and that surely does need all of that heat but I hardly believe that the entire restaurant has to mimic that! No AC, any time you walk - in. I get it, we have to cut down on things to reduce carbon footprint but then again, the ventilation needs to be planned in such a way that at least, the oncoming guests feel welcomed. The second thing that really got to me and it is something that I really, really judge an establishment upon, given how they charge you, is how clean they are. This Burger King is really bad. The toilets are somewhat okay but the wash basin sinks are horrible. It looks like one that was attached at a deserted Railway station which has hardly seen maintenance. The toilet door handle on the inside, has grease and dried out, what I would like to believe, ketchup or some other sauce stain (I really dread to think it could be anything else). On my most recent visit, the upper deck had a putrid smell. I know there happens to be a landfill in an around that area in Gorai but I do not think Burger King should be having the same waft. I highly, highly believe that Burger King is a strong competitor. Their Burgers are amazing as well but such careless attitude is driving away your patrons. McDonald's will treat you like you need them. They hardly put in the effort because they know they sell by their name. You'd consider your day to be lucky if you were to be given an add - on. Burger King on the other hand is that person who craves for your approval. Will go the distance to prove it as well. And it is pretty evident from their offerings. However, no matter how good they put it up, the place where I am supposed to eat, if it puts me off with the way it is, it is not going to be worth it. My final verdict: Good menu but everything else is not Burger...

*Delivery experience - Ordered veg crispy and whopper Jr. The veg crispy was a bit dry, had a little tangy taste in mayo, not so crispy the taste was a bit similar to Mc aloo tikki. The veg whopper Jr. Was better in taste, it had mixed vegetable patty, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickled cucumber the sauce was mild it had a little chessey flavour. The also offer double patty options. Ideal for kids and quite filling. Both the burgers were packed properly and sealed. The delivery was done very within 20mins.

Ambience- is amazing, I loved the seating area, the glass windows give a nice view. The seats are labelled saying I Am Anti- social to follow COVID safety measures. There is a seating area on the first floor as well. The place is very neat and clean.

Staff & service - staff if very polite and friendly, they also ask for feedback. The service is quick.

Food- loved the peri peri fries, berry creamy shake and black currant thick shake.

Attributes- they accept digital payments, the bill is sent in digital format. Place is partly accessible ♿ Washrooms are clean. Parking space is available for two wheelers but it's limited. They offer takeaway and delivery. Spacious enough to occupy groups and family. Ideal for kids, groups...
