Talkatora Park is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of New Delhi. Known for its Mughal-inspired architecture, the park boasts beautiful water features, vibrant flowerbeds, and paved pathways. Once a sprawling tank, it now offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With its historical significance as a battleground between the Mughals and Marathas, Talkatora Park is not just a green space but also a piece of Delhi's rich history. Today, it's a popular spot for leisurely walks, picnics, and enjoying the city's skyline.

One of the best neat and clean well mentioned park for walking, outing with friends and family, you can enjoy the picnic and click the pic with the nature. Children park also there for the kids, they can play there, nicely maintained park for children. Parking available infront of the gate. Nearest metro is Central Secretariat or Patel Chowk. Near by you can enjoy the Laxminarayan Temple (Birla Temple). No entry fee required for this park. SBM toilet available there free of cost.

Very good park, beautiful flowers, old ruins, 2 badminton courts, miniature hill with a scenic view. The Park is maintained, frequently Grasses are trimmed but the fountains are off most of the time not all of them are working, expecting same with the lighting there, never been there in the dark so I'm not confirmed about the lighting.
