I visited this temple long time before. Beautiful temple in most congested area Soolai. Very very old time temple. Now the renovation is going on. Front side Mandapam and surrounding area stones are removed and kept inside the temple. Other small sanathi stones are marked with number (for rebuild reference). Not yet started the work. Main sanctum is not yet touched. This is one of the Panchabootha sthlam of Chennai.

Oldest shiva temple in Chennai. Proud of my ancestors for building this temple. Since government is dragging the temple development process ppl took step and constructed a new chariot last month.

Now Temple is planning for kumbabishekam sponsors are welcomed. Contact the temple address and donate money to the kumbabisheka trust.
