Durgai Amman Temple — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

Today we have visited this temple with great pleasures. Had good dharsanam on this Thai Friday. As usual we had a chance to see the tv serial people shooting there. Before the main entrance, there is a small nice tank. Lot of big fishes we could see on the water and devotees are putting some food for fish and enjoying. The speciality of this temple there is NO HUNDI. Even we can not offer money to the archakas after having Dharsan. He advised me to offer money and get receipt from temple office. The temple staff gave me a coupon on which they printed as donation. They are maintaining neat atmosphere. Overall Ambal blessing all devotees.

This is a good temple overall, but like many big temples, special attention seems to be given mainly to VIPs. Near the fish pond, the water was quite dirty, and duck food was scattered all over the pathway, making it unpleasant.
