Food was good but worst service that's why 1Rating. We 4 of us came to the restaurant on Friday 10th Feb 2023 around 11.30 pm and ordered 4 dosa. Here token system have pre buy it was irritating still followed, paid money for 4 dosas. The counter guy said go and sit you will get. 1 Dosa came in and rest 3 did not come for 20.mins. I was frustrated and asked the billing politely yet the guy in the counter asked the guy who was giving food to customers in blue shirt he started shouting rudely you have to give token in my hand if you give somewhere I cannot be responsible he was shouting on top of the voice. Seriously is this the way you provide service in a reputed restaurant I was furious still I didnt fight I asked black shirt guy in counter you are supposed to tell us rite then the black shirt guy apologized and he ordered again dosa master to put dosa as that blue shirt given our 3 dosas to customers who came later than us.
This was unacceptable Behaviour.
Hot Chips management please do a counselling to your employees who are customers facing their own frustration cannot be shown to the customer.
I didn't know his name he was wearing a blue shirt having moustache lean and normal height like 5.6 foot and was little fair in complexion.
He needs to be coached how to talk infront of customers and not yell when customer itself asking politely.

I went to Chrompet Hot Chips last week same night 12 am and same person on the tea counter he still seems to be rude to his co-workers I am facing same problem where the front desk person is north Indian unable to talk in Tamil and scared to ask that rude tamil guy anything I told that front desk person I need 1 coffee parcel and told him clearly whether to say yes or no unavailable But he scared to ask that rude guy after me pressuring him to ask also he didn't ask The rude guy shouted to the front desk person he going to put new milk batch it will take 30 mins any last order...then only front desk guy opened mouth and said yes 1 coffee parcel
So here the experienced tamil guy should be polite to his coworker and teach him and make him comfortable to work. But still I see him shouting and taunting..
So not sure if the corrective action was effectively taken.
The problem is when I am customer I should not see your internal employee behaviour issues and incompetency affecting my time and quality of service as you guys charge a lot compared to normal tea shop. If you have a premium cost to customer atleast give basic service by being polite in front...
Read moreFirst, I went to this outlet in chrompet, Skipped self service and sat in AC Hall. It was full of flies and looked dirty.In time was 11.45am. The staffs over there looks impatient and inexperienced. There were time restrictions for few dished we asked, Finally we ordered Chilly Parotta & Paneer fried rice (Which dont have any time restriction yet they insisted they will start by 12pm only). We ordered Sambar Vadai and waited till 12pm to order those two dishes. Finally we found out that master was away and came back by 12.15 pm only, thats why they made us to wait.
Second, We received our food by 12.30pm and we couldn't finish the paneer fried rice. The quantity of the dish was huge bowl full. Since we couldn't finish, requested them to packet the dish which we dint even eat a spoon. After few mins your staff came to us and handed over the parcel, to our shock, the weight was too low, When i opened the packet it was only 1/4th of the dish given to us few mins back. So i asked him where is the remaining. Then he said sorry and bought another package after 5 mins.Even after that it was not equal to the before. They keep on try to insist that the quantity is same as before. So i asked the same bowl but an empty one to check whether its same or not. But they refused to give one. One of the staff was very rude and said the container size is standard. For take away we can only give that much? We pay same price for both, If container size is small, why can they pack in two and ask for the container charge from us? I insisted them to call their manager They said the manager name is Karthikeyan but said he is not in yet.
I came to India after 6 months and totally lost hope in humanity and kindness. What your staff going to do by cheating their customer?
The management should do a proper training and teach customer service to the staffs. Everyone over there are rude, inefficient and inhuman.
