Nandhana Palace - Andhra Style Restaurant - Chromepet — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We visited here for my son’s birthday treat on 17-Nov-2024 , it was a Sunday afternoon lunch.

First of all the valet parking and the welcome smile by the waiter who asked us for the number of people to allocate us the table was so charming .

We started off with Mutton bone soup and chicken bone soup . The mutton bone soup I had was spicy and worth having (5star to it, since I did not have chicken soup I do not want to comment on it but as heard from my guests it had the same flavour as that of mutton bone soup)

I ordered Mutton keema biryani for myself in the intention that sometimes the mutton pieces in regular mutton biryani may be harder. But the keema biryani served here was very very oily . Also I do not want to call this a biryani but instead an oil or ghee white rice poured with mutton keema.I would give zero rating for it.

On the other hand I did taste a small quantity of the Nellore Mutton biryani . It appeared to be much better than the Mutton keema biryani. But I am not sure about the tenderness of the mutton pieces in it as I only tasted the biryani alone.Also my guests who are very sceptical about taste told the Nellore mutton biryani did not have any clear taste.But of course to me as I just look only for a subtle taste in food it was good for me.

The Bamboo chicken was amazing. I would suggest it’s a must try here and I give 5 star to it. There is also something called Bamboo chicken biryani but we didn’t taste that.

The chicken grill-full that we ordered should have been good as I did not taste it.

My wife ordered veg meals . Nothing bad about it.

We ended with mojitos,watermelon and ilaneer payasam. They were good .

Finally to me, I think Nandana palace will not be on my bucket list.

But anyway it can be a once try but not for the mutton keema biryani.And as we went on a sunday afternoon the meat...

My friend and I went to Chrompet branch, The service was not good for us, we could see they were serving food for people who had more than 2 members at the table. Please provide a good service irrespectively. By the way, the food was awesome with quality, the price is a bit more.

A Truly Disappointing Visit to Nandana Palace Chompett Our recent family visit to Nandana Palace Chompett, including my parents, was unfortunately a terrible experience from start to finish. We had heard good things, but our reality was far from it. Right from the beginning, we were met with inconvenience. The lift was not working, which was particularly difficult for my elderly parents. After finally making our way in, we then faced a long wait just to get a seat. Once seated, the problems only continued. We waited another half an hour for our food to arrive after ordering. We had ordered meals, and the lack of service became truly frustrating. We repeatedly asked multiple servers for additional poriyal and rice, but none of our requests were ever fulfilled. Despite our persistent efforts, we ultimately left without receiving the additional rice and sides we had requested. This level of inattentiveness is simply unacceptable. To add to the woes, the wash basin and pipes in the restrooms were not working properly. Instead, a bucket and glass were provided for hand washing, which further highlighted the general lack of maintenance and care at the establishment. Consequently, there was even a long queue for washing hands. Overall, our experience at Nandana Palace Chompett was pathetic and incredibly frustrating. We had hoped for a pleasant family meal, but instead, we encountered poor service, long waits, and a general disregard for customer satisfaction. We will certainly not...
