Unforgettable adventurous thrilling experience at SKY PARK : We the Physics department staff of Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur embarked on a thrilling adventure at Sky Park in Yercaud, creating memories that will last a lifetime. This review captures the essence of our exhilarating experience as we navigated through the treetop adventures and embraced the adrenaline rush that Sky Park had to offer. The adventure at Sky Park served as a fantastic platform for team building and fostering strong interpersonal relationships among us. The shared challenges and triumphs created a sense of unity and camaraderie, enhancing the overall experience and strengthening our bonds as a team. The safety measures implemented at Sky Park were commendable. The staff were thorough in explaining the usage of safety equipment, and the adherence to guidelines instilled confidence among participants. The well-maintained equipment and rigorous safety checks further contributed to a worry-free adventure. Apart from the thrill of the activities, the breathtaking views of Yercaud from the treetops added an extra layer of delight to our adventure. Read moreSky park is a good 1/2 to 1 day trip. The cost is Rs 1000. Now the price is steep and it is the same price for kids above 5 and adults as well. So it is a bit steep and the cost of cable car to reach the sky bridge is another Rs 200 one way. The bird park is amazing and worth the visit. They have a few activities for kids and also the VR games are limited and a few are not in working condition. The place can get crowded over weekends and there can be a long wait for a few minutes for the games. The zip line and adjoining activities need folks to be fit and are a bit steep climb. This can be a deterrent to many folks and older parents. The folks who don’t utilize the zip line can give the younger folks another take with the ticket they have purchased. This helps to negate the feeling that the activity is missed by older folks as they let the younger folks experience the same twice. Again this is at the discretion of the person handling the activity. They have kids Zone as well with a few activities for the kids aged between 2-5. There is also a decent selection of food outlets for lunch. The place has a scary house as well which is average. The aquarium is below average. They have a museum and 12D theater (9 seats only). These are ok. The sky bridge is exhilarating but is steep climb even after taking the cable car ( this is not a real cable car , it is more a cable cane chair). You will have to climb 5-6 flight of stairs to get to the sky bridge. It is worth the time and effort. The views are amazing and on a windy day you can feel the wind and a bit of turbulence as well. Which is both amazing and scary at the same time. Remember this is not a full fledged adventure park. It is a mix of adventure park and open garden. So be prepared to walk a bit. Have your walking shoes and...
Read moreA new entrant to Yercaud’s attractions with a set of adventure, learning, entertainment options for kids and adults. A lot of photo opportunities.
My comments are :
Location - just 2 km from Yercaud lake - on the way to Kuppanur/pagoda point
Layout - The layout guide is at the entrance, one can check which ones they want to do first, adventure activities have more wait time so head to it first. It’s at one of the ends though.
Price - Thousand rupee per person - worth the money if you are doing all activities. There should be a lesser price option for children/senior citizen/ anyone who wants to do only few activities.
Activities - Adventure activities are good. Refer their 32 items list, many are unique and interesting. There should be an option to choose any adventure activities, now we have to do all 6 or none before getting down 😩
Kids have a set of activities and play area. But less options. Also There are no water based activities for kids like the other one.
Skywalk is awesome - Rs.250 additional, and to reach the skywalk tower by rope car another Rs.200/trip 🤨
Staffs are courteous and very helping 🙏
Restaurants - There are only snack shops inside 😠 For lunch/Dinner there are few restaurants nearby.
Parking - ample space near the entrance and overflow parking across the street.
One can go out and come back any number of times in a day with the hand band. If due to bad weather one can’t complete the activities they can come the next day without charge (so nice of them)
Have clean restrooms and drinking water at few places.
Overall a good place to spend 4-5 hours if not full day. Enjoy your visit and bring home...
