Our first visit to this hotel turned into a memorable experience, thanks to the incredible staff and their dedication to customer satisfaction. Typically I’m not a big fan of leaving long reviews but this time I had to!
On 23rd Jan, We arrived around 9:35 PM, unaware that restaurants here close earlier depending on the crowd. On the way, we noticed the whole city seemed to have shut down, and we assumed the restaurant would be no different. Upon arrival, the watchman informed us that it was closed but kindly went inside to check. After a brief wait, he along with the chef returned with good news—they could serve us a few items if we were okay with it.
We quickly agreed and were ushered inside. The manager, Arun, greeted us warmly, with a smile that never faded despite it being past closing time. He ensured we were comfortable, took our order promptly, and served us with exceptional care. The food was delicious, and the entire staff, including the chef, helpers, and the watchman, worked together seamlessly to make our evening special.
Their willingness to go above and beyond left a lasting impression. Kudos to the entire team for their excellent customer service. This is a place I would highly recommend to anyone for its hospitality and dedication to guests’...

Pros:
The taste was outstanding as it was prepared from organic vegetables,one may feel the very difference in the taste.Every dish was awesome.
The ambience was too good..Ate in the outdoors and it felt lt like eating amidst the woods..
There was good parking space as well.
Hospitality was great and the refill was made promptly.
Cons:
Little pricy.Price:560 (incl of taxes) per person
No A la carte was available only buffet option was available
Spread was minimal.For lunch we had Green salad Veg salad Channa masala Phulka Babycorn Augartin Mushroom 65 Kashmiri pulao White rice Sambar Kulambu Rasam Potato curry Curd Payasam
There was only 1 curry, 1 desert and 1 starter and no soup for lunch.
The access road was damaged a little so little hard to reach if you a not by your car.
Overall:
The cons were outweighed by the taste and for vegetarian this was the best option available in yercaud.So could be a must try if you are looking for pure veg options...

We had a wonderful experience at Sweet Potato in Yercaud! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was impressive and exceeded our expectations. The Chef Bal Murugan and his team Uttam Singh.. are creating dishes to its best organic way...
The service was equally commendable – the staff named Captain Muniyandi , his team Prem kumar, Philip, Prabhakran were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable.
