Maa Vaishno Devi Dham in Vrindavan is a prominent temple dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, an incarnation of the Hindu Mother Goddess. Established in May 2010 by Shri J.C. Chaudhry, a devout follower of the Goddess, the temple spans 12 acres and serves as a spiritual haven for devotees.

Key Features:

141-Foot Statue: The temple is renowned for its towering 141-foot statue of Maa Vaishno Devi, visible from the national highway. The Goddess is depicted seated on a lion, adorned in a red saree, with a large statue of Lord Hanuman kneeling beside her.

Architectural Design: The temple complex mirrors the original Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir, featuring hills, caves, and lush greenery. A notable attraction is the cave (gufa) showcasing idols of the Goddess's nine forms, offering devotees a serene environment for worship.

Visiting Information:

Timings: The temple operates daily with the following schedule:

Morning: 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Evening: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The cave is accessible from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Came across the Maa Vaishno Devi statue inside the Char Dham complex during my recent visit to Vrindavan. I wasnโ€™t really expecting something this grand tucked inside the temple area โ€” the statue is massive and beautifully crafted, instantly catches your eye the moment you enter that part of the complex.

What really stood out to me was the way the Trikuta hills were recreated around the idol. Thereโ€™s a cave-like path that leads up toward the statue, giving it that familiar Vaishno Devi pilgrimage feel, just on a smaller scale. I saw a few kids walking through it excitedly while elders took their time with folded hands. It felt like a mini journey within a journey.

I paused there for a few minutes โ€” not because it was crowded (it wasnโ€™t), but because the way Maa Vaishno Devi is depicted here feels powerful. The expression on the murtiโ€™s face, the lion beside her, the backdrop โ€” itโ€™s all very well done.

Itโ€™s not a place where you just walk by and leave. Even if youโ€™ve been to the original shrine in Jammu, this replica has its own energy. I didnโ€™t click many photos, just stood there quietly for a bit.

Definitely worth stopping at if youโ€™re visiting Char Dham. It adds another layer to...
