Visited this place at the beginning of February with 4 feet of snow all around. Clean n well maintained small cottages with a small outdoor seating porch area. Good fr couples and small families. Not cheap, but then nothing at auli top is. Room heater provided which will keep you warm even if it drops to minus 8 outside. There is no room service and food/snacks /tea is served at the common eating area which is near/close depending on the cottage you are in. Overall a good place to stay cos of the views and the character. Opt for the front row cottages if available. Maintenance can be better as the snow was not cleared for a path which could cause trips and falls. PS: Though the service is good, the geyser in our room didn't work, which is major inconvenience. Despite reporting it.. The management didn't change our rooms, probably cos we requested a cottage, he didn't want to provide.

Beautiful scene of Himalayas I went with my husband and our toddler in the mid of Nov'18. Basically we went to see snow fall but unfortunately we didn't get to see that on the day. But the beauty of the place is just unbelievable. It is 4hrs away from my home in Rudraprayag, Uttrakhand. The roads are not good at all to reach to Auli but once you've reached the place you'll forget that. So we booked a super delux room in auli ski resort worth Rs.4130. Suit was superb. We got complementary breakfast the next morning and the food was good there. Staff is also good. But only for dinner we were charged Rs.900 which was against the menu rate mentioned in their menu book kept in the room. Anyways. Then we moved to Badrinath temple at 9.30am which is 2hrs away from there. It was a nice adventure trip.

Approx 16 km drive from Joshimath. Road in mid-October was perfectly drivable, not too steep, condition average. The rooms and suites are spread across the slope. I’ve seen rooms at 2nd and 3rd floor; and they are quite well maintained with facilities like geyser, heater etc. Restaurant at second floor provides good options. Sandwiches are great; pakoras, chilly chicken are good and come in good sized portion. A chair lift (Rs.300 per person for to and fro journey; last lift at 5 pm sharp) takes you to the top of the ski area, where the other GMVN property is also there. Panorama view from the top is breathtaking. We could see Chaukhamba, Hathi Parbat, Nanda Devi, Dunagiri and many more snow capped peaks all around. All together a great experience in the resort and around.

I visited india end November 2018. I am from Mauritius. i went to vrindavan in the Kartic month. i stayed 12 days in vrindavan and after that i wanted to visit Auli . so i contacted Rashmee who works for Travel Planet world Agency. i told her about my needs and asked her to prepare a schedule for me for 7 days . she was very fast and send me my planned tripped to Auli. i stayed in Auli two nights. it was at the Auli Resorts. it was the best hotel with 24 hour hot running water and room accomodated with heater . i had two days of peaceful retreat in Auli. i had a friend with me. we went on the chairlift to see the mesmerrizing view on mountains with snow peaks. then we had horse riding and skiing. its sweet memories for me . i had a good break form my routine life. i will always remember this place. Food was also very tasty. and hotel staff very nice.||After that we went to Joshimath where we stayed one night. Hotel was good . but not much to see in joshimath. However we had darshan of Gadi of Lord Badrinath in Joshimath. Feeling blessed . On our way to Rishikesh we visited all the five prayags along Alaknanda River, vishnu prayag, karan prayag, Nand prayag, Rudra Prayag and Dev Prayag. i had the chance to have evening aartee of Ganga River at Dev Prayag.||Rishikesh Hotel was also one of the best. finally we were dropped at Haridwar where we stayed two night and attended Ganga aartee at Har ki Puri. ||i am feeling so blissful after this superb Yatra.||i would like to thank Rashmee and her team for all the arrangements she made to make our trip a memorable one. Thank you Travel Planet World for this blissful trip.||||The road to Auli is the same way leading to char Dham yatra. the road is actually under construction so the travel was tiresome. But after completion of road works the trip to char dham and Auli will be very...
