A peaceful and divine spot tucked away in the serene hills of Lansdowne – Kaleshwar Mahadev Mandir.
This beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is nestled amidst the quiet and lush greenery of the hills. The entire atmosphere here is calm, spiritual, and soothing to the soul. If you're looking to escape the noise and chaos of daily life, this is the perfect place to spend some quiet time in prayer or reflection.
Reaching the temple is quite easy – you can drive your own vehicle directly up to the temple entrance. Although the last stretch of road becomes quite narrow, it is still easily manageable, even for slightly bigger vehicles like Ertiga, Eeco, or Kia cars. Just drive carefully, and you won’t face any issues.
🅿️ Parking is free, and the area is not crowded, which makes the experience even more peaceful. You’ll often find the surroundings clean and well-kept.
When I visited, there was no pandit present, but the temple was open and accessible, and that quiet, unhurried atmosphere added to the spiritual vibe of the place.
This isn’t a very commercial or crowded temple, which makes it feel more authentic and sacred. You can sit there for a while, soak in the peaceful surroundings, listen to the rustling trees and birds, and just unwind.
I would definitely recommend adding Kaleshwar Mahadev Mandir to your Lansdowne itinerary. Whether you're spiritually inclined or just looking for a serene spot with beautiful views, this temple is a hidden gem that you...
