I wish I had visited this place in January. The place is cold even in late March, when I visited. The close by mountains were clear without any fog. So I could see Himalayan snowy mountain range in far background. It was the first time I am seeing a snowy mountain. It was an amazing feeling. You could just sit back and relax and enjoy the view from this viewpoint. I highly recommend. Other than the view, there is a tiny Trek route nearby.

This place leads to a trail into the forests of Chir Pine. During winter Snow clad mountain peaks can be viewed from here but now in summer this place is not of interest.

This view point place is right next to war memorial.. view is amazing.. if you are with kids need to be careful because edges are point and is very steep and deep forest.good for birding, if weather is clear / if no clouds you will see himalayn mountains from this view point, good if you have...
