Very nice for morning walks.

They have instruments installed in the pavement for exercises.

A very tall artificial waterfall that looks realistic.

Statues of different species of animals for children to learn.

Large Clock tower looks gorgeous.

A fountain on a near end of the park.

A large playground for children.

Seats installed on the walkways for a short rest.

A skating school for children near the park. (You can join if you want to do so, for a fee of course)

A shiv temple on the centre of the park. (of course for which the park is named to)

A stage on the end of the park where many functions takes place.

A public restroom inside the park.

Many trees.

Exit is gorgeous, looks like a small 'India gate'. (Or 'gateway of india')

Entry free of cost.

2 temples nearby.

So many people come here at evenings.

This place is also decorated on festivals as on pongal, a giant pot is placed and light decoration, light picture decoration, etc looks fabulous at night.

I will recommend you to go here...

Excellent place of children, women and men to walk, to do exercise, to do yoga and for kids to play. In Chennai Sivan Park is catering to the health and fitness needs of people around KK Nagar, Ashok Nagar, West Mambalam and it's neighbourhood around KK Nagar. It has separate yoga halls for men and women. It has toilet which is clean and neat for both men and women. It has mini gym also. It is also having scating area. This park is having lot of play activities for children. It has separate exercise area for men and women. In Siva park you can walk, you can do exercises with aids, and you can do yoga. Sivan Park, located in KK Nagar, Chennai, is a peaceful and family-friendly space ideal for relaxation and recreation. It is well-known for its lush greenery, walking paths, and vibrant flowers, making it a popular spot for joggers and families alike. The park is particularly notable for its towering 15-foot statue of Lord Shiva in a meditative pose, which adds a spiritual dimension to the serene environment.

The park includes a children’s play area, benches for relaxation, and a small pond, enhancing its appeal for both adults and kids. It is busiest on weekends when families come to enjoy the open space. The clean and well-maintained surroundings receive positive feedback from visitors, making it a recommended location for those looking to unwind in nature.

The park is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM, with free entry for all. It is situated conveniently at PV Rajamannar Salai, making it easily accessible from various...

This place has developed so much since time I went there 20 years ago. But still holds the same charm as before with the great slides and swings.. It even got a Rollerskate park within it which is more awesome.. The place probably lost a little bit of maintenance due to the ongoing pandemic. But it is still clean, not as quiet (since it's right next to major roads) and refreshing with kids playing around. The place has a free toilets which are decent for public use and also public gym equipments (separate ones for male and female.) The entrance has the main lord shiva statue which can get quite busy with devotees. But thats how park got its name. So , I guess it's okay.. Definitely a visit if you are a local resident and live near by... but nothing special if you are visiting chennai.

This is a great free government park integrated with Shivan temple. The Shivan temple is an open temple in the entrance of the park. I had been coming here periodically since I was a little child, There are animal statues of elephants, rhino, eagle, camels and more. There is even space for badminton and volleyball. Also it contains a spacious playground for kids to play with slides, swings and a lot more. Often times NSS people also visit this park during Saturday's and some days.

Well maintained. Restrooms are available inside. Located in a prime location. All kinds of shops are available in close proximity. Best place to spend time with kids and for walking. Sivan temple is located inside. Fully surrounded by lush green trees. Must visit place for nature lovers. Drawback:: No dedicated parking space. Two wheelers can be parked outside but I didn't find parking slots for four wheelers. If I am wrong please correct via comment. Timings:: 5am - 9pm
